Barcellona, 28 maggio 2018 – Creare, reinterpretare, ridisegnare… i print Desigual. Questo è il nuovo progetto, avviato di recente per apportare novità, modernità e freschezza al brand. L’iniziativa consiste nella collaborazione con artisti internazionali, innovatori e autentici, affinché esercitando la propria libertà di espressione artistica creino nuovi print da applicare ai capi del marchio, andando a creare così piccole capsule collection esclusive per Desigual. Ogni collaboratore potrà creare diversi disegni, stampe o illustrazioni da applicare a vari capi, che saranno messi in vendita come capsule collection con il loro nome d’arte. La prima collaboratrice del progetto, i cui capi sono stati lanciati il 28 maggio, è l’artista e disegnatrice spagnola Miranda Makaroff. L’artista ha creato cinque nuove stampe dal design unico ed esclusivo, riprodotte su diversi capi che vanno a formare la capsule collection Miranda Makaroff per Desigual. “Mi sono ispirata all’idea di portare le mie pitture nel mondo tessile, passando dalla tela al tessuto, per creare un mondo ricco di colore e divertimento, rifuggendo le stampe robotiche del mondo digitale. Tutti questi print sono stati realizzati a mano, tracciati con un pennello e poi scansionati, per conservare l’autenticità del tratto”, commenta Makaroff. La collezione sarà presentata il 31 maggio a Madrid durante un evento esclusivo a cui sarà presente anche l’artista. La capsule collection sarà disponibile in diversi punti vendita spagnoli fino a esaurimento capi. La palette di colori è allegra, sexy ed estiva. La collaborazione si compone di cinque stampe. La prima è ispirata al mare, con stelle marine e pesci, mentre la seconda mostra donne che sfoggiano le proprie nudità perché non hanno nulla da nascondere. La terza stampa è più minimal, per chi ama la geometria senza rinunciare all’allegria dei colori. Nel quarto print troviamo una donna distesa su una chaise longue: potrebbe trattarsi di un’aristocratica o di un’artista. Infine troviamo un’ultima stampa le cui forme
astratte ricordano le amebe, figure che galleggiano tranquille e rilassate in un fiume di acqua bianca. “Ho cercato di far incontrare in modo fluido l’essenza Desigual e il mio immaginario, e credo che il risultato sia delizioso. È una collezione pensata per persone piene di vita, che non vogliono passare inosservate e che amano divertirsi con la moda, come se fosse un gioco. È una collezione per sentirsi liberi, ballare scalzi sulla spiaggia, per essere sensuali e soprattutto sé stessi”, conclude l’artista Miranda Makaroff.
