Italian footwear brand Skandia is pleased to present its new footwear collection for kids Skandia Basic autumn-winter 2018-2019.

The Italian brand Skandia released a new footwear collection for children Skandia Basic fall-winter 2018-2019. This is an absolute protection from cold, snow and rain, which will not fail even in severe frost!
In the new collection the designers of the brand presented comfortable boots with Velcro fasteners and zippers for girls and boys in fashionable and at the same time practical colors – purple, blue, black, khaki, crimson and brown. They will perfectly combine with clothes.
One of the main advantages of Skandia Basic shoes is the maximum comfort and convenience due to the use in the production of a special waterproof SkandiaTex membrane with heat-sealed seams. It provides to the feet warmth and dryness: both in slush at +5 and in severe frosts up to -30 degrees.
The soles of Skandia Basic boots are produced with use of innovative multi-component polyurethane BASF Elastopan ®, which guarantees a high level of adhesion with the surface and slip resistance. In addition, the soles retain elasticity at extremely low temperatures, provide good amortization and thermal insulation.
All Skandia Basic shoes are complemented by special insoles with a triple layer of insulation. The first layer of polypropylene absorbs moisture, the second – performs the function of thermal insulation, and the third, made of wool felt, absorbs moisture from the layer of polypropylene through microscopic pores, allowing the foot to breathe and keep warm.
The materials used in the production of Skandia Basic shoes meet the strict norms and standards of European quality. Products are repeatedly tested in specialized laboratories for water resistance, thermal insulation and tightness.
