Celebrate The Festive Season at Berners Tavern
Celebrate this holiday season at Berners Tavern. From group feast menus to special Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve offerings, the restaurant will take care of the hard work so guests can relax and enjoy the festivities.
Christmas Feast Menu
The Christmas Feast Menu is available for parties of four or more, from the 19th November. Dishes include Dingley Dell pork and pistachio terrine with celeriac and pickled mustard salad; Whole baked sea bass with fennel and mussel stuffing and pickled fennel salad; and Christmas crumble tart with spiced cream and custard. There are two menu options, priced at £95 and £110 per person.
Berners Tavern will be welcoming guests throughout Christmas Day with a special four-course menu available at both lunch and dinner. Priced at £180 per person (£80 for children), the menu includes luxurious dishes such as Native lobster soup with lobster and salmon ravioli and braised fennel; Highland venison wellington with faggot, braised red cabbage, parsnip, port and truffle vinaigrette; and Milk chocolate, hazelnut and orange Yule log with blood orange sorbet.
New Year’s Eve
The festivities continue on New Year’s Eve with a celebratory menu with dishes such as Norfolk quail ‘Waldorf’ salad with truffle and chopped liver sauce; Rack of Herwick lamb with BBQ belly, salt baked celeriac, Tokyo turnip and shepherd’s pie sauce; and White chocolate and pecan mousse with blackcurrant sorbet. The evening will be divided into two sittings at 7pm and 9pm, priced at £100 and £180 respectively.
